I’m so thankful to be here
Allow Me to Introduce Myself
Would it surprise you if I told you that my ultimate favourite place to be in the world is fishing on a boat with my dad or road-tripping in small towns with my mum? I’m a born wanderer, explorer, lover of nuanced experiences, and the hidden beauty of life.
I’m unabashedly me, with a very loud laugh, and a contagious smile (so I’ve been told). I’m a mum and a wife, a small-town girl from Windsor, in Southern Ontario, Canada, near Detroit, Michigan, who daydreams of travelling the world every day.
Northern Canada has the best view of the stars, my favourite meal is turkey dinner with all the fixings, I love red wine, country music, and all sports. My dogs Miggy and Shania are pretty much the cutest in the world.
I bring all of this, my wanderlust, my passion, sixteen years of experience as a wedding photographer, seven years as a family documentary photographer, and my contagious laugh to every shoot.
The Photo Memories from My Life
My Life on the Water
I’ve grown up on the water. Getting up at 5:00 am to fish with my dad is my favourite ritual. He taught me how to cast, put a worm on the hook, and to be patient when the fish aren’t biting. Some of our best memories are fishing stories in the Windsor area.
The Other Loves of My Life, Miggy & Shania
Miggy and Shania are the best pups ever. They are both rescue dogs and we couldn’t be happier they are now part of our family!
Wanderlust is in My Blood, in My Bones
We all have daydreams. Mine usually include an adventure somewhere else. Lobster in Nova Scotia, wine in Napa Valley, beaches in Brazil, castles in Scotland, safari in Africa, over the top tiki hut in the Maldives, Paris with my love, camper van across Canada. I love Windsor and Southwestern Ontario, too.
Speaking of Weddings, Here is Mine and My Parents’’
Maybe this will help you get how important weddings are to me: I had two of them to the same husband. Yup, we did a traditional one in Windsor, Southwestern Ontario, with family. And then we went off to Mexico for the second one. I made Jeff wear a brown suit, we still cringe about it.
My parents got married on a Friday morning in a church. My mum wore my aunt's dress and my dad borrowed a suit.
